    In the past, Z-Wave network setup was a bit complicated, particularly for those who wished to control their networks with automation systems. Devices had to be added to handheld Z-Wave "primary controllers" and then that information had to be 'replicated' to a separate controller interface. The process was tedious and prone to errors. Adding and removing devices also created problems for many.
